Elijah and Daniel's tour of podcasts continues. First they sat down with Mick Garris' Post Mortem on Fangoria, and then Justin Beahm Radio Hour. The talks go deep with discussions about SpectreVision, Visitations, horror films and its affect on culture. My favorite statement out of them is how SpectreVision is the United Artists of genre. Here are some photos from their visit with Mr. Garris.
:: The inset photo along with this one are fresh new stills from Come to Daddy.
:: SpectreVision's latest film, the much anticipated, Color Out of Space, will make its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival, running from September 5-15th.
:: Becoming a festival and indie favorite, another SpectreVision film, Daniel Isn't Real, is up for a total of 11 awards, including Best Feature Film, Director and Visual Effects. This time from the FilmQuest Festival also taking place in September in Utah.
:: Resuming this fall on Disney, the trailer for the second and final season of the Emmy nominated, Star Wars Resistance, came out this week. There's no sign of Elijah's character, Jace Rucklin, but I'm curious to see where the story goes.
:: Elijah will be at the New Mexico Comic Con this weekend with a discussion on Sunday. Hopefully some images and videos will pop up from his two day stint there. If so, they will be featured in the next update.
That's all... for now.

Kicking off with some awesome news from SpectreVision. You can soon see more projects from the production company as they are expanding into the realm of television by partnering with Legendary Television Studios, the makers of The Expanse and Netflix's Lost In Space. You can read more about their small screen deal here.
:: After showing at several film festivals, Daniel Isn't Real, has finally released a spoiler-free trailer for the award winning film.
:: With the huge success of SpectreVision's podcast, Visitations, Elijah and Daniel were answering the questions for a recent Shock Waves podcast. Their segment begins at the 53:50 mark.
:: Ant Timpson, director of Come to Daddy, sat down for an interview prior to the New Zealand International Film Festival which runs through August 11th.
:: Just a couple more weeks until Elijah makes another run at a convention for autographs, photos and a Q&A. This time it's the New Mexico Comic Con, happening August 16th-18th.
:: With close to 40 "weird and wonderful" movies announced in the first wave, Come to Daddy will join them at Elijah's favorite film festival, Fantastic Fest in September. I'm happy to say after a two year absence, I'll be back in celebration of the festival's 15th year.
That's all... for now.

Another convention and come and gone. The latest one that Elijah graced was the Montreal ComicCon a couple of weeks ago. You can find some images from the event here, as well as a video of the Q&A.
:: Come to Daddy is growing more and more high praises. It recently screened at Fantasia Fest in Montreal and has received additional great reviews from Collider, Screen Anarchy, The Spool, and from the Bucheon International Film Festival in South Korea, is another thumbs-up from Diabolique Magazine.
:: Here's an interview with Ant Timpson about his experience making Come to Daddy and the festivals afterwards.
:: Elijah's second appearance on Comedy Central's Drunk History just recently aired. With a completely different story this time around, the actors performed do-good citizens of the 1970s. Screencaps from the episode have been added to the existing one here, and you can view the program on Comedy Central and various other platforms. And way to go Drunk History on your three Emmy nominations! One for directing, Are You Afraid of the Drunk?.
:: Still without a video from Supanova, there is a bit of a recap of the Q&A Elijah gave.
:: SpectreVision's film, Daniel Isn't Real has picked up an award for Best Director, which also screened at the Bucheon International Film Festival. The film will hit theaters in limited release and on VOD on December 6th.
:: Finally, I can't let this update go without expressing a big congratulations to Elijah and Mette-Marie! May your new blessings be tenfold! Love ya!

Elijah spent two weeks in Australia attending the Supanova Comic Con. (Yes, I know I've called it the wrong name for weeks) But Supa or Super, it was a good time with fans down under. Take a look at the photos from the convention.
:: Elijah gave Q&A's in Sydney and Perth, but I haven't been able to find footage from them. However, there are a couple others. First, a quick video of an attendee presenting Elijah with gifts, and the piano virtuoso playing a famous movie theme song. No, not that one.
:: Keeping track of Elijah's docket, today begins the Montreal ComicCon. He'll be there on Saturday and then comes the New Mexico Comic Expo August 16th-18th.
:: The film festivals keep chugging along. Come to Daddy will have its premiere at the New Zealand International Film Festival later this month, and it will be the opening night film at the Arrow FrightFest happening in August in London.
:: Elijah took part in a rather ghastly event, and it was fun to listen to. He lent his voice to the horror fiction, NoSleep Podcast. It was the first one of their 13th season and Elijah's tale of the macabre begins at 21:42.
:: At the last update, Visitations, had aired five amazing episodes. The last four are complete and this podcast never disappoints. Here are images of Elijah and Daniel with their guests, Dan Harmon (Rick and Morty), Flying Lotus (Tiny Tortures), Richard Stanley (The Island of Dr. Moreau), Kate and Laura Mulleavy (Fashion Designers-Black Swan) and Panos Cosmatos (Mandy).
That's all... for now.

After all the news from the last few updates, it's kind of nice to settle down a bit. But there's still things to talk about, like Elijah's appearance at the Supernova Comic Con that happens this weekend and next in Australia. He'll be there for photo-ops and signings.
:: Come to Daddy is screening at the Sydney Film Festival this weekend with the first showing being sold out. Director Ant Timpson expressed on Twitter that there will not be a trailer for this well received movie. He's relying on the wonderful reviews and posters to bring in the audiences.
:: Elijah and Ant gave an interview about the movie with Letterboxd. Here, you will also see more festivals the film will be at.
:: While scouring the internet, I came across production notes for Come to Daddy that really dives into the making of the movie.
:: If you have not yet listened to the Visitations podcast, do yourself a favor and do so. It's one of the best I've heard and the discussions are quite revealing. Elijah and Daniel chatting with creative people on their home turf reveals more than expected. You can read why this podcast stands out from others and here are some photos with their guests, Taika Waititi (Thor: Ragnarok), Mike Flanagan (The Haunting of Hill House) and Ana Lily Amirpour (A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night).
:: Over the Garden Wall will become another graphic novel, this one named, The Benevolent Sisters of Charity that sounds amazing. While the series was great, and the novels a treat, they really need to make a full-length animated feature, don't you think?
That's all... for now.

Since Elijah reached his 30th anniversary, there has been two events to cover, so basically it's business as usual. First up was Phoenix Fan Fusion, and there are plenty of photos from the two day convention.
:: Elijah treated the crowd to a Q&A at the convention. Sadly, I haven't tracked down the hour long conversation, but there is a 9-1/2 minute video. Because we can't get to hear what Elijah discussed in its entirely yet, there's an enjoyable article written about it.
:: Here's one young lady's entertaining personal account of the convention that involves a very special signature.
:: Next up was The Overlook Film Festival this past weekend. Not too many photos have come about, but there are a few. Check them out. There's also some short videos. [Come to Daddy 1] [Come to Daddy 2] [The Faculty 1] [The Faculty 2]
:: The Overlook was not only to screen Come to Daddy, Daniel Isn't Real and The Faculty, Elijah and Daniel Noah were there to speak about their new podcast Visitations.
:: The podcast premiered this past Friday with their first guest, Taika Waititi, and it was a pleasure to listen to. Just a group of people shooting the breeze. Very casual, very entertaining. Have a listen for yourself on either IndieWire or Apple Podcasts.
:: Backtracking to a previous convention, there's a video from Conque's Q&A that's not entirely overdubbed so you can hear Elijah's responses. And check out this video from his visit to Bernal.
:: No sooner than Elijah finishes, more appearances are on the horizon. Later this month, he'll be heading to Australia for the Supernova Comic Con in Sydney on June 21-23 and Perth, June 29-30. Then it's off to visit Montreal Comic Con on July 6th.
:: No word yet if Elijah will be in attendance, but Come to Daddy has more festival screenings at the Fantasia International Film Festival in Montreal, July 11th-August 1st, and the Melborne Film Festival, August 1st-18th. Looks like it's going to be a very busy summer!
:: Lastly, could there be a Dirk Gently animated series? Before you get too excited, it's still in the very early stages. Arvind Ethan David, executive producer of the TV series stated on Twitter, "Most of the real life cast has expressed something between intrigue and excitement about the prospect of being animated." He even has the character development in the works. Clap your hands if you believe!
That's all... for now.
