Yep, he's been like nowhere to be found. Off around the world xD
But I found some new stuff today ^^ Thanks to Eccentricity Online and as always ewanmcgregor.net
Studios battling to sign Ewan McGregor for their new films
He hasn't been on the silver screen much lately yet Ewan McGregor has lost none of his appeal for movie-makers. Not only has the hunky actor begun talks to star in the prequel to hit flick The Da Vinci Code, he is also at the centre of a bidding war for parts in two new Scottish films.
First up is Angels & Demons, director Ron Howard's take on bestselling author Dan Brown's book. Producers are all poised to sign Star Wars actor Ewan as the Vatican insider who helps Oscar-winner Tom Hanks, reprising his role as hero Robert Langdon.
Meanwhile, fellow Scot Peter Capaldi is reportedly keen to secure the Crieff-born star for his new comedy, The Young Pretender. Ewan would play two roles in the film - the Hollywood actor portraying Bonnie Prince Charlie as well as the extra who replaces him.
There is opposition to the plan, however. Hollywood actress Scarlett Johansson, fresh from success in period drama The Other Boleyn Girl, is said to be after Ewan to co-star with her in the remake of Mary Queen Of Scots. The 37-year-old would play Mary's third husband, the 4th Earl of Bothwell, in the 26 million flick. Both films are set to lens this summer. Ewan has been largely absent from the film world after taking time off to complete his Long Way Down motorcycle trip from John O'Groats to Cape Town last year.
Incendiary

Deception.

And for the really good old days. Obi-Wan

It's not on his wikipedia page...not that that's a reliable source
He's all I've listened to for 6 days...and when I do little dances I end up doing his moves...and something else but I can't tell you, it's too embarrassing
How are you?
Quote:| McGregor is one of the few major male actors to repeatedly do full-frontal nudity in many of his films, including Trainspotting, Velvet Goldmine, The Pillow Book, and Young Adam. He also played gay or bisexual characters in two of these (Peter Greenaway's The Pillow Book (1996) and Todd Haynes' Velvet Goldmine (1998)). He is also one of very few uncircumcised mainstream actors. |
Wow, now I have that knowledge I can sleep at night.

AHA! Vic - I've finally caught you! (You know of whom I speak!)
A-hem! ... Anyway, since I'm not a particular fan of Ewan's (he's OK tho) I've never posted in here, but I'd say Deenan is right - you girlies in here just seem to natter on about anything!
Why not bring it to the General Chat thread and let some of us newbies meet ya? I promise I'll be good (yeah right! )

I don't want to start an argument or anything here, and I do respect what the mods say. But the thread is closing in on it's 3rd year of being around, and it was moved from the Other Media section because it was a club. And it was my understanding that it would be okay to not talk about Ewan all the time if it's in this section. Maybe I misunderstood it? But I would think that someone would let me know sooner than 2 years later. But if it would help to rename it, or just have it fall away, I would respect that decision from the mods and admins here.
As for letting new people meet me, I would love to, but trust me, my obsessions would drive anyone who doesn't know me insane. But it could be worth a try sometime
And as for Ewan, yes he has a new movie out now, Deception. It was released in the US on April 25.

ewan's movie is out already? see, i told you i didn't follow him.
about the topic. we understand that threads will go off tangent every now and then for a few posts, but this one goes way off topic more times than not which is why it's already on its forth thread. i went back several pages and there was more talk about other movies, tv shows, other actors, musicians and personal matters. it seemed only alexander brought back the topic of ewan. nice icons, btw.
anyway, just try to stay on topic more. like i said, we know threads can go astray.
thanks!

Ha, yeah, when there is Ewan news I post them. And thank you so much for commenting on my icons ^^
In brief: McGregor tackles Angels & Demons
Wednesday, 30. April 2008, 19:41:33 Ewan McGregor is poised to join the cast of Hollywood's Da Vinci Code prequel Angels & Demons. McGregor, who can be seen this weekend in the new thriller Deception, will play a Vatican insider who helps the story's hero Robert Langdon, played by Tom Hanks. Israeli star Ayelet Zurer has been cast as Hanks's leading lady. Ron Howard, who turned Brown's bestseller Da Vinci Code into a $758m (£382m) hit in 2006, is scheduled to begin shooting later this year.
Well there you go. Looks like I'll finally be able to see him in a theater again xD
I was in a Stay mood. Great movie. Have you seen it yet? Ewan's pants and hair in it always make me laugh They're weird pants.

But Ryan Gosling is so good in it. And so it put me in a Ryan mood.
