Dude, you met Figwit?? That's awesome!!!  Me and my roommate actually sat down one night and went through the entire Council of Elrond scene just to see if we could find Figwit (and identify who he's supposed to be in the story, along with the rest of the Elves in that scene; we were up till four, hehe.)
elijahfan89: Figwit is one of the "extras" (debateable point) in the Council of Elrond scene. He has this weird cult following because he's a Kiwi and a severe hottie.

as Figwit
I met him on holiday in Edinburgh. He was walking around the Royal Mile with friend and camera and asking people to to say his show was great. I said I couldn't say that 'cuz I didn't know what he was talking about. We got talking and he told me he was from NZ. He asked me if I knew LotR and I said 'yes off course, I'm a huge fan!' He aslked me if I knew about the Figwit caze and I told him I thought it was great. Then he said: Well, that's me. Off course I didn't believe that. I mean, come on, I'm not that gullible. Turns out he really was. He gave me free tickets to see their show (Flight of the conchords) with my friends and we had a drink afterwards, discussing all kinds of things for the rest of the evening. We saw them the next day to and we went out, then we had to go back to Holland sadly. We all left with posters from hs show and the one of his friends.
