World Cup 2010!

So the World Cup kicks off (forgive the pun! ) today! Is anyone excited? I'm quite looking forward to it, it should be quite fun to watch some of the games. Is your country participating? If so, are you supporting them, and how?

Hooray, the World Cup South Africa 2010 finally starts!! I'm so happy Have you seen the World Cup 2010 Concert? For the people who live in the U.S.A, the concert will be air again but on ABC Channel at 8 pm. Set your TIVOS. It's worth it.
My country is not paticipating but I support all the South American teams, the U.S.A and some European countries like Portugal, Spain, the Netherlands aka Holland, Germany, Italy, the host South Africa, Cameroon, Australia.

Did anyone see any of the matches yesterday? The horns that the fans have in the stadium are so noisy!
Ireland aren't it either (thank you, Thierry Henry) so I did a draw with some friends, and I got Argentina. So I guess I'll be supporting them.

I don't like football and I dislike the World Cup even more. But I do like to annoy people. So my Facebook page is now the USA flag because one guy n my Facebook keeps talking about how England are gonna kick "arse" (and well, calling all the other countries [i]the[i] C word). I pray the USA wins just to rub it in his face.

I don't very like football but I reading actualities about it. And I hear France is eliminated. No suprises about this, this is a quite bad team. I prefer the Netherlands, Germany and England.

The French players have actually been on strike, haven't they? I don't know much about Domenech (their manager) but he must not be able to rally the team very effectively. France have been playing poorly, but I don't understand why - most of their players are amazing for their clubs, so why not for their country? (It should be Ireland out there! )
Is it just me, or does anyone else actually quite like the vuvuzelas?

They're now playing against South Africa. 2-1 for the Africans.
I don't know why they're quite bad. And it's right Domenech don't choose really good players. And maybe they win too much money (it's scary to see the millions they earn even if they lost the match. )
I vote for anyone who decides that the players must return to France by hitchhiking if they lost the match.

Well, Brazil and Portugal are in the second round. Sadly, for Ivory Coast their 3-0 against North Korea was worthless.
Argentina against Mexico, it will be a great match. Go Argentina!!
And most of you, girls enjoyed seeing a shirtless Cristiano, don't you?

So it's down to the final! I don't really have any preference as to who wins, but I think I'm going to support Spain, just because I've watched a few of their matches and I haven't seen Holland play at all. But they're both really good teams and it looks like it'll be a good match!
