Spender or saver?

I always used to be a spender. But now, definitely more of a saver. Being a student, at least for me, means watching every penny.
What about the rest of you? Any tips on how to save?

It depends.
On some days I'm a big spender (today ) and some days I'm a real saver and even spending one euro is too much. So it kind of depends on the day.
What I do when I want to save is put some money in an old wallet and put it somewhere in a closet or drawer. It keeps me from spending it. But then again, it's probably because I'm too lazy to take the money out...
Also, if I've spent too much on useless stuff I take the amount of money that I've spent on that useless thing and I put it away for at least one month, so that I have more the next.
I've got crazy saving-tips, lol.

I don't work, but if I saved money from birthdays, gifts I can be a spender. When I know I have about thirty bucks, I have the urge and tendency to sepend it on music. I know, wasteful, but thats the only thing that comes into mind Or books.
Though, I did beat my record. I received 250$ from my graduation awards and I saved it for a year. But then, my grandpa needed it. Sad isn't it? lol
So, in the end, I am more of a spender. But, once I start working, I probably will save more for University

I like to think I'm the best of both worlds. I try to save some money, but I buy the food I want to and we bought ourselves a new tv this year.
But I always shop on sales and look for the best prices. So that counts for saving, right?
