Airline Problems

I am having such a horrendous experience with Air Jamaica right now. My daugher's luggage has been missing for almost 2 weeks! The airline says they can't locate it. I'm about ready to call the NY State Attorney General because my daughter has been in touch with 50 other people on this flight who haven't gotten their luggage yet either. This is the SECOND time in a ROW that Air Jamaica has lost her luggage, They did retreive it the last flight, but not this flight. And what retribution do we have???? My poor daughter had her med school notes from a whole semester of school in that small bag.This was priceless. She will have o take her boards in July and now she does'nt have these notes!
Anyone else out there have this kind of trouble? What did you do to resolve it with the airlines? This is Air Jamaica.

Thats awful to read about your daughter, I really hope she gets all her things back! I am lucky in that I've never really had any problems with flights or luggage - my family mostly uses ferries rather than planes. I just don't undertstand how an airline complany can lose all that luggage? I mean, where does it go? Good luck to your daughter getting it all back.

i'm so sorry! i hope she gets her stuff back. i have only been to airlines a couple times. i don't get why they put you stuff on that moving belt thingy, people could just grab your luggage and take off with it. it's crazy! i had to wait, like, hours to find my bags when i went to Florida one time.
