I don't know if this has been posted before...if so I'm sorry

Well last night I was watching a documentary about the subject

and i wonder how many of you believe in them.
so what do you think?
Are we alone in the universe?

I voted 'yes'. I find it hard to believe that Earth holds the only life-forms in the entire universe. I don't, however, believe in the stereotypical green Martian guy with a ray gun.

I don't think that they would be intelligent life-forms, they may be microscopic organisms, or something.

I believe there has to be something out there.
I mean- look how huge the galaxy- not to mention the universe- is. There is no way that only one planet in all that is populated.

I doubt they're green with antenia and huge black eyes, but they'll not be like us. They'll have evolved differently if they are 'people'. The organisms thing suggested by Le Deux Machina sounds most likely. But you never know...

I do, but not in the little green men sort like other people have said. I mean the universe is big, it's very unlikely that were alone. Even if they're just bacteria, or something just as small...

I voted yes because I don't really think the possibility is exactly ruled out. I mean, there is no evidence that their are aliens, and the Bible doesn't mention them, etc., but that doesn't mean they aren't there. I never rule out the possibility of extraterrestrial life. The universe is a huge place -- who knows what's REALLY out there?

I have voted no.
I do believe our universe is big enough to have other species living out there but at present I'm not even interested to have prove or evidence of that.
When aliens do arrive I'm sure I'll find out about it.

I have no idea. It's certainly possible, but, I wouldn't think that there is anything human-like out there, more likely just yeah -- 'microscopic organisms.'

This is an interesting thought. If Christianity is to be believed, then God created us, the unverse etc. But what if some other God-like being came along, made his own race on a pre-built planet and voilá! Aliens...

Good lord... Must we drag the Bible into this discussion?

I voted 'yes' - I think it's incredibly arrogant to assume that we alone are the one 'intelligent' life form in existence. And there are some levels between bacteria and humanoid life - such as toads, dogs, cats, whales, dolphins, snakes, bears....

i voted no....i dont know why, i just dont think there is.

what i most deffinately dont believe is that aliens are visiting us in our sleep and making crop circles and whatnot. even if i did believe in aliens, thats just rediculous. we have so many telescopes and satellites around, is it possible that we can miss something that big? i just dont think so.

i agree, dont bring the Bible into this. if its part of your reason why you dont believe in them, thats fine. but dont make a discussion/argument out of it.

Well ... it's not as if we're arguing about it. We're just using the word "Bible" in our statements, and having a completely civil discussion doing that. I don't think there's anything wrong with it if we have relevant reasoning for saying it.

I don´t believe in green small creatures coming from out space and trying to conquer us, but I am convinced that there must be some sort of form of life in other places...
we are not alone and the truth is out there...
