Newsflash Twilighters! The director of Twilight will not be directing New Moon due to not being able to release the movie in the desired 2009-2010 range.  However, she is praised highly for the work she did and is wished well in the future.  The new director has not been announced. I didn't really rate the book very highly I'm afraid - and the movie, though better, wasn't fantastic either IMHO. Sorry all you mad Twilight fans, I thought some of the dialogue and acting was laughable (I literally LOL'ed in the cinema in parts!  I thought Pattinson's acting was melodramatic and wooden in turns (tho he's pretty hot to be sure ) but unlike most ppl, I LIKED Lautner as Jacob! ... IMO the actors who played Charlie, Alice and the wannabe-cool-but-geeky Eric were the standouts. Report to moderator   Logged m Be yourself.
