Johnny's got WAY more talent and charisma to back up his sex appeal, which is more interesting anyway than Brad.

lolz  I thought it was only about which one is a better actor but about sex and bed..I can;t choose one cause I don't feel that way about any of them but if I was ever going to vote (I won't) it would be johnny Depp

I'll say Brad Pitt. I don't think Johnny Depp is that great looking out of eyeliner.  I think they're pretty much equal talent wise, but Brad doesn't have that sort of alternative appeal that Johnny has, because he's always been more popular he's sort of dismissed as a pretty boy star rather than a great actor.

I only ask because over here in England Brad Pitt beat Johnny Depp in the list of 100 Greatest Sex Symbols.
Here's what they say about Johnny:

I picked Johnny. I don't like Brad that much anymore since he left Jennifer Aniston for Angelina Jolie.

now let me just make this clear: i would give up my left arm for the slightest glance from Johnny, but i believe the question was who is the biggest sex symbol. Johnny has never been the type to embrace the sex appeal aspect of his career, and Brad Pitt certainly does. yes, Johnny is almost always No. 1 on those dumb lists, but i can almost gaurantee he couldn't care less...i'm sure Brad doesnt care that much either, but Brad is almost famous for his good looks. Johnny, on the other hand, has his amazing acting talent and goofy role playing that led to his fame.
so, i put personal preference aside and voted Brad.
but goodness, if Johnny Depp isn't the hottest thing that ever walked this planet, i'm not sure who is.

The vote is more for who you think is the better sex symbol. Whether they embrace it or not, sort of what do you prefer hot, melted chocalte (Johnny) or hard, crunchy, mouldy old cheese (naming no names ).
I had the breifest thing for Brad Pitt when he was in Friends. I thought 'Ok like that he's cute' but no new phase came out of it. Johnny is consistently gorgeous whether he's Willy Wonka, Captain Jack Sparrow, Edward Scissorhands, Ed Wood...
