Oh boy, what didn't I read from Stephen King during that time? Let's see...there was Cujo, the Dead Zone, The Shining, Christine, Carrie, Pet Sematary, I think Salem's Lot, a couple books of short stories, I forget the names, that Gunslinger series that he partially wrote with Peter Straub. I lost interest around Monkeyshine. Then I really got into Peter Straub, who wrote Ghost Story, one of the scariest books I have ever read--the movie is good too.
Now I just watch movies based on King's novels--Dolores Claiborne, Misery, Rose Red, that "Give me what I want and I'll go away" TV movie. There's also that new series set in a hospital based on King's work.
Sorry if some of this is wrong--it would take too long to look up all the details.
By the way, I think that Sissy Spasek was a homecoming queen in real life, but she has real strong acting skills so pulled off the Carrie roll very well.

| I really didnt find this book scary as much as just bizzare.....Exept for the part where the little boy comes back...definitely scary..evil children scare me
