The scene near the beginning where Dumbledore comes to collect Harry from the Dursley's is sooo funny ... And HOW ON EARTH can they leave out Dumby's Funeral??!! UNLESS... I'm beginning to think JKR has no script approval whatsoever, or at least not since CoS.  If I were JKR, I'd demand they fire Kloves and let me choose my own screenwriter. I totally agree that the funeral is a vital part.  I could see how it could be carried over, but I don't see why they would. First of all, you can't guarantee anything, but mostly because I understand that some things have to change between text and film. LOTR had lots of things like that. I hated to see the book changed, but I understood why they had to. I think I'll give the HP filmmakers the benefit of the doubt on this one.
