HP and the Half-Blood Prince

Back when LOTR was being filmed, we had TORN which kept us apprised on a daily basis of what was going on witht he films and provided many pics from the set, etc.
When would I find the same kind of info on HBP? It begins to shoot next month so I would think there would be info out there on who is playing the parts, etc.
Thank you!
Hugs, Rach

Mugglenet.com updates pretty much every day, and I'm sure the minute that something interesting happens and the film really gets underway, they'll post all the latest!

Maryd, Thanks for the info on muggle.net. DO you know if they do on set pictures, other than the regular publicity stills, or not?

Rach, you're very fast with making this thread, knowing the fifth film was only just released, lol .
But I have to admit, after reading the last book the next thing we can look forward to is the 6th film. I'm really curious how they will present teh story. There's not really a lot of action in teh 6th book I think, so maybe it will be harder for the directors to keep teh film going. I'm not sure, what do you guys think?

It seems fast, but I'm not sure it is when you consider that they start filming in September. The casting news is certainly long past.
I like the fun to begin as soon as possible! LOL

All three principal actors are on board for both remaining movies. No worries.
I haven't heard anything about new actors, but I would LOVE to, if anyone hears anything. Surely they have already been cast since it starts filming in September!

I'm desperate to see Slughorn....I agree with you when you said that there isn't much action in the 6th book, I've noticed in the films that they like to keep the talking to a minimum and the fights to a maximum and because there's so much back story in the 6th, it'll be tricky. Is David Yates directing again?

Yes, he is. Does someone know when exactly they start filming?
I hope they'll reveal the names of the new actors soon. There have been some rumors, like Naomi Watts playing Narcissa Malfoy but nothing very reliable.

I can see Naomi as Narcissa....She would match Jason Issacs really well. (Isn't that the name of the guy who plays Lucius?)
There isn't much "action" but there is story that NEEDS to be told in order to set up the last film. They are going to have to handle it in some manner.
I'm hoping they will include Lavendar Brown and the entire Won-Won debacle. THAT would be funny... I can see Rupert kissing her while he watches to make sure that Hermione is watching. LOL
Hugs, Rach
