The theatrical release was July 11th here. I think that is the same time it came out in England.
It's ok. I'm waiting semi-patiently! LOL Hugs, Rach

Yep, if I remember right it was about the 12th here, or something. Too bad you won't get your DVD for such a long time Rach!

Rach, my dad is back but he told me the DVD wasn't out in Spain. now I'm wondering when will it be out in Europe because there might be a chance for my friend's grandma to buy it for me from Germany since she's German! Can anyone give me the date that the DVD is out??

It's already out in England, which is understandable since it is a British movie. I couldn't say about a release date in the rest of Europe.
Thinking about it, it's a bit strange that they vary these release dates at all. It seems to me that they would profit more by releasing them all at the same time, but then, I've never been known for having a specifically busineslike mind! LOL
I don't d/l films for a number of reasons, one being that the quality is always DREADFUL, but LOTS of people do. This film is already being posted. I saw parts of it on YouTube this past weekend. Wouldn't they make more money by releasing it EVERYWHERE at the same time so people are less likely to grab it online?
Just my thoughts. As I say, I definately lean toward the artistic. Maybe I just don't understand the business mindset.
Hugs, Rach

In Belgium, the dvd was released on November 14.
I looked around the internet a bit and I think your dad is right, the dvd comes out in Spain on December 4. In Germany, it has been released on November 16.

I have my dvd now and I was watching the d/l copy yesterday. I wondered how many of you grabbed this digital copy and what you think of it?
I was a bit disappointed in the extras, I'm afraid. Trailing Tonks was cute and the additional scenes are always nice. The Hidden Secrets revealed nothing I hadn't heard before and the editing thng was interesting but...well, I wish these dvds had a commentary of some kind. That would be fun!

Glad you got your DVD at last Rach - time has been so short here that I haven't even got round to watching the special features yet, except the deleted scenes. I would have loved some bloopers.

I got the dvd today, a bit late but now I felt like it was responsible to spend my money on it. I didn't regret it yet. I forgot already what a great film OOTP is. The actors are just brilliant, the fighting scenes so spectacular and the atmosphere is so gloomy, I LOVe it!

Watched it for first time while babysitting last night, it was good but nothing like the previous hp maybe cos it was different director or at least that is what mark was saying.

Oh, I thought it was the best one! I thought too that the director David Yates did a fantastic job - there was all the fun of 1 and 2 but with just enough darkness, like 3 and 4.

I agree, maryd. I thought it was the best one as well, and Ron wasn't even in it as much. LOL

I think Rupert is turning into the best actor of all the younger actors in HP.
Liked this movie much better after a second and third viewing.
