In my opinion it's one of the best roles of Elijah, or even the best. He was amazing there, he was a kid but he was able to play perfectly all these emotions. The scene when he gets to know taht his dad died is just.. incredible. I'm always crying there...
Generally, I love all the movie, not only because Eli plays there

yeah I saw the war when it first came out. I have no idea how old I was but it was a good movie. I"m not keen on elijahs shaved head, lol but his acting was just brilliant at a young age and now I own the dvd

Hey you guys!! Guess what? A couple days ago I was in Wal-Mart when among a box with a pile full of B and C movie DVDs on sale, the first DVD that met my eye was The War!! It only cost five bucks!! I have this movie on DVD now, I'm so happy.

The special features are a total bust, but that doesn't really matter. For the first time now I've actually collected an Elijah movie that isn't LOTR.

Oh, that movie is great. It was so sad, and even though he was so young, Elijah was excellent.

I bought The War on DVD this summer, and I loved it, it is one of my favourite Elijah movies, he does such an amzing job in it
My cousin doesn't like him in that movie She's crazy!
I always cry my eyes out though

I LOVE THE WAR!!! ELIJAH REALLY WAS GREAT IN THAT FILM! HE MAKES ME CRY EVERY TIME I WATCH IT! I WROTE A SONG ABOUT THE FILM ACTUALLY!

Same here Enara - I love this movie!! And I cry every time! Elijah was brilliant in it!

There are no special features on my DVD.

The movie starts playing immediately instead of going to menu, but if you press disc menu on the remote it takes you to some kind of menu with ugly strange art. All they have are typed biograhies and a dumb picture for each actor and the director. *shrugs*
