Elijah in Day-O tv movie 1992

Does anyone have Day-O the make for tv movie in 1992? Or seen it? I just got it on ebay but its from Austrailia and it will not play because its in PAL. I'm so upset. Now I dont know what to do with it.

i've never seen it. DVDs from foreign countries...foreign to the US, are on Pal. i've run into that. it is annoying. i think there is a way to convert it, so someone here might know how.

yea I have called everywhere to ask for tape transfer. I thought there was a place but I'm stil trying. It plays the sound but no picture. Plus the sound is not the sound of actors its sounds funny. If anyone knows what I need to do let me know. It is from Australia on VHS.

yea but usally Pal works on my vcr. He said I could retun it and get my money back though. I so want to see it ahhh.

Oh I see, that's double the shame then, glad you can return it though and get your money back. Or maybe you can have it converted after all..? It was on TV in the UK once, maybe it will be on TV over there as well?
I wish I could find Day-O over here, Elijah is so exclusive, it's hard to find a lot of his movies here (but you already knew that)

PAL is the format used for Videos in Europe (and other parts of the world), the american equivalent is the NTSC format. Almost all newer NTSC players should, in theory, play PAL videos.

you're not alone in this quest. i have never seen day-o either. it's one of the two movies of elijah's i've never seen.
someone on the forum may have this movie and they will respond to you.

I recorded Dayo from the TV.
Its in German but its such a funny movie.
I love it. Elijah is very sweet in it.
The whole story is nice.
There is this lady and she never had a good Childhood/relationship with her dad. So when she was little she had an imaginary friend called Dayo (Played by Elijah) Only she was able to see him. Nobody else. She would talk to him on and off.
Years later when she is already grown up. ( by this time she has already forgotten about Dayo) he suddenly appears again. He follows her round and tries to help her getting her live back in order as she has relationship problems and problems in her family.
Elijah is great...

I also recorded it when it was on German Tv and I really liked that film. It was so sweet:) And it had Maxwell Sheffield from The Nanny in it-I just love him.
And Elijah was so small and his acting was already incredible. I love that film.
Hope you find it in Italian. I can only offer it in German but I'm sure that won't help...

Hi Feda.
I didn't manage to record it because our video recorder is ... temperamental..  but I did manage to see it because Sabine lent it to me once. 
I like Dayo as well - it's such a sweet movie. And Elijah plays his part really well in my opinion.
But then, doesn't he always? 
The one film I'm desperate to see is Avalon...
