The problem is, when the movie will come out in France, it's not the voice of Lij, but the voice of another person we don't know!  
So if I want heard Elijah, I maybe will must wait the DVD!
The world is unfair!

I once saw that that TV sitcom called Father of the Pride (with the lions in Las Vegas from the creators of Shrek) took 9 months to make, each episode. Obviously all the animating and rendering takes a pretty long time to do.

If I think about how long it takes me to make icons in Photoshop, I can totally understand that! Plus, mine are not even animated (yet)! LOL
But then I'm an Icon newbie and they're professionals.

That is so awsome.. Does anyone know if teh IMAX, in Seattle, would play it even though the IMAX, is the Seattle Pacific Center.. b/cause I don't think they owuld since it's all about science, dang... oh well, it won't come out for awhile so I can worry abbout it later.. It seems like such a cute movie.
Plus, just have to mention him since we're on the 'Happy Feet' discussion... Robin Williams rocks!

I know! At first I thought that Robots movie looked like such a bad corny flop, but since I've seen trailers of it, Robin William's character is absolutely hilarious. I must see it- just for him. And Ewan Mcgregor.

Oh wow, we have an IMAX in Manchester. I haven't read the article but it would be cool if the film was showing there. I've always wondered what the IMAX place was like.

I'll try not to gush too much about how happy this makes me. I'm so proud of Elijah...sounds like he may again star (as a voice actor anyway) in an Oscar-winning film. I LOOOOVE Imax 2D movies, and Imax *3D* movies are absolutely breathtaking. This is going to be a blissful experience...being surrounded with beautiful visuals I can almost touch...and being filled with Elijah's sweet voice.
I'm so sorry to hear that in other countries there will be a non-Elijah voiceover. That's stupid! People in France and Germany almost all speak English as a second language, don't they? I agree about having a Happy Feet party here in the US so everyone can hear Lij!

Hmmm... maybe this is not the right thread to post this, but Indiatimes has dared to put a picture beside their announcement of Happy Feet (no one else has put up a picture yet). I wonder if the movie will look something like that or if it's just a cute filler.

I really really hope it doesn't look like that poster. I imagined the penguins all this time to be a lot more dynamic and tuxedo like with big huge eyes and Mumble would look so close to Elijah. Because Elijah does look like a penguin.
But, I have a feeling it is....

The picture of the little penguin is so cute!!!!
I don't know...to be honest, I've been kinda wary of animated films at all in the past couple of years, even DIsney movies. But it looks like things are getting better, and I'm hopeful...
