hi everyone sorry for the bother but what is black and white like. i just got it but it is an ex rental with no description. im hoping it is saucy like try 17. heheehhehee. is elijah in it much?? im frightened to see it incase it is horror. imdb.com arent saying a whole lot about it.. thanks for any help i can get. please tell me the elijah scenes.

Hey Elijahs*Kitty*Gurl.
I've seen Black and White once, though it was a very long time ago. I can't remember much about it, just that there is a very graphic scene at the start (doesn't involve Lij, unfortunately). Never fear, it's not a horror movie. Not sure if I liked it or not, I'd have to see it again. I can't remember much at all.

well im about 15 minutes into it all there is is cops talking someone got shot about 2 minutes ago im still looking for lij. i mostly want to see the kissing scene hhehehe. i wonder whereabouts he shows.it looks nypd blue so far.

I only have one word for this film... bad!
Sorry, but I just hated it. The story is crap, the acting is bad, even Elijah is not convincing, like he didn't really know what he was doing.
I really regret the fact that I have spent money on this.

so far its just crappy shooting shot people .ick. i hate it. still no elijah. i only got it to see about the kissing scene thing. hhheee. i only payed 5 dollars. . next time i can just fast forward mostly what appears to be half the movie. *sigh*

The kissing scene with Brooke Shields you mean? Well, that's at the end of the film, the last 5 minutes or so.

I can't remember where he appears exactly but he isn't in it a lot. Only like 10 minutes or so.

 *whines* im not sure i have the right one i went thorugh the whole tape and its all cops. no lij or brrooke no kissing just a ghetto type film. it says 1998 on it. *cries* mi so disapointed.*takes vid back to store* is there a clip of that particular scene anywhere?? *begs* both brooke and lij arent listed in the credits *begins to now wail*

In that case, you have the wrong one. Black and White is from 1999, not 1998.
Who is credited then? I checked imdb and there's no film with that title from 1998 
Check the media section of bagendinn, they might have clips from the movie. There are others as well, but I don't remember the sites.

right-click then save... download it first on your pc...
mine's dsl too and it worked for me...
I would have to agree with Cristiel, Black and White is plain old rubbish...

I right there with you Cristel. I rented "Black and White" recently and I am so pleased I didn't spend the money buying it.
My beef with "Black and White" is as follows:
The gratuitous sex scene in park serves no purpose other than to supposedly "shock us". Well it didn't it. It was just cheesey skanky porn.
The black characters were so sterotyped it was almost farce. There are REAL people in the innner cities who don't live that way. Did we see them ? No. If I lived in Harlem I would be offended by Tobacks portrayal of "The Hood"
All of the chracters were unconvincing, poorly written and not developed. What was the point of Mike Tyson other than "OOh Mike Tyson's in our movie". Again a shock tactic that didn't work.
If this is the best commentary on "Race" Toback can come up with, he needs to shut the HELL UP! Race is not a binary. Are there no other cultures and races other that what he see as "Black and White" ?
He stated that although we may not like his film we "will respect it". I don't. It was a very poor film and I actually went to make a cup of tea halfway through and didn't bother to press pause.
Lij looks really uncomfortable in it and doesn't seem to get to grips with his character at all. In the improv scenes the others seem to shout him down.

Yeah, me too, wasn't great. But I really like the way he looks in this film, he looks so much like my friend.
