Hmm.. I'm actually quite looking forward to this movie! It should be interesting to see Jim Carrey in a more serious role. And then Elijah.. Teehee, when I read about the review, with him talking and giggling in the van.. haha. I laughed, I did. I can't wait. Yay for more 'Lij!

Among the players here besides Carrey and Winslet are Elijah Wood as Patrick (in a role that is extremely different from his turn in “The Lord of the Rings” trilogy, which will shock some of his fans)

I also read that the script to this movie is somewhere on ElijahFan.com in a PDF file. But I can't seem to find it. If anyone finds it, please PM me!!

reading that I know this guy knows what he's talking about...Memento is my favorite movie...
I am excited for ESOTSM to be released...I think it is going to be great...Great cast...great screenwriter...
Charlie Kaufman is brilliant....I loved Adaptation, Being John Malcovich, and Human Nature...I have yet to see Confessions of a Dangerous Mind.

On a Kate Winslet site I go to I read that her performance is VERY good. Like oscar good. About damned time. I hope she wins this Oscar if she gets nominated.

From what I've read, they really want some Oscar buzz on this movie. The only problem is, I think its bumped back until January. That's usually to late to get on tab for the Oscars, especially this year since they are a month earlier. And the movie may get forgetten by next years ceremony! I'd like to see Lij get nominated.

Glad there are more Charlie Kaufman fans out there. People either love or hate his movies, since they are so off the wall. Adaptation is great, and you have to see Confessions of a Dangerous Mind!

Isn't that still in time?? It'd be rushed. . .mhm. . .That'd be cool if Lij was nominated for Best Supporting Actor or something. Carrey is lead man right or am I confused?

Carrey's leading man, Winslet is leading lady, Elijah is supporting male, & Kirstin Dunst is a supporting lady.
Usually films coming out that close to the Oscar's don't get considered until next year. They usually end it w/ the end of the year. And since it'd be on next years ceremony, it could easily get forgotten after that long. But who know's, it's quite possible they could release it on time in November. (Premiere Mag says November 14th still!)
