I just got an idea. I checked to see if it was in the archives and didn't see it so here goes............
What if.... Elijah and JRR Tolkien sat down to chat........ what would they say???
I went to a wonderful site that Celebrian shared

It has Professor Tolkien speaking...... I listened to it and it just came into my head... how much he and Elijah have in comon. Both are so intensly into their own art - him the English Language and Elijah , acting.
What do you think they would discuss???

Thats a really interesting question. I;ve never really thought about it. Perhaps they'd talk about Frodo, or maybe the simple pleasures in life. Tolkien liked the earth, and good food, and things like that, I think, and I'm pretty sure Elijah does too.

I thought, since Tolkien lost his family at such a young age, and Elijah is so into his family, they would have an interesting conversation about the importance of family and LOVE.............

Though question, but really interesting. Probably Lij would ask JRR Tolkien why he made Frodo suffering a lot, never get a family of his own, and why JRR dislikes technology and like the nature and questions about God (JRR Tolkien lead his friend CS Lewis into Christianity.
Perhaps, JRR finally accept to watch with Lij the LOTR Trilogy. I'm sure Tolkien would be pleased with Lij's acting, especially playing Frodo.

I think Tolkien would have a colorful discussion concerning God and such. Because in interviews earlier, he said he wasn't trying to make a connection. So It would be an interesting sparring of conversations.
