Cate Blanchett on Jonathon Ross

Did anyone see her on the show, she is really pretty..A really nice person .
Thought she looked different then how she looked in lotr, I think its the hairstyles she has in her films.
Apparently she only spent 3 weeks filming her scenes as opposed to 4 years!!
like some of the others on the film..
I think she is a really good actress must make a point of seeing some of her other films..only seen lotr and the gift.

I haven;t seen any o0f Cate Blanchett's films apart from LOTR, but she is starring as Bob Dylan in a biopic some time soon, called 'I'm Not There.' What was she talking about on JR? Usually people only go on there to promote something.

I think it would be to promote her (second) Elizabeth movie, which looks fantastic. I've seen a few of her films.

i looovvvvveeee cate blanchett. she's my favourite actress. you guys should check out heaven, elizabeth, the aviator etc... she's such a diverse actress

Watched 'Elizabeth' on TV last night - amazing film! My mum says she'll go see the sequel in the cinema. Cate Blanchett acts so well, with real conviction. Her role in 'Elizabeth' was oscar-nominated, wasn't it?

Yes she was. And Jenny Shircore won the Oscar for Best Makeup and they were nominated for six other Oscars, Cata for Best Actress in a Leading Role, Best Picture, John Myhre and Peter Howitt for Best Art/Set Direction, Remi Adefarasin for Best Cinematography, Alexandra Byrne for Best Costume Design, and David Hirschfelder for Best Music (Original Dramatic Score)
