This is a neat little article in which Sean discusses the possibility of Goonies 2.

http://www.superheroflix.com/news/10/23310.php

Apparently, Sean is doing promo for The Final Season. I'll be watching for nighttime tv and other talk show appearances!

Rach

Here, Sean says that Goonies 2 is a definate go, or seems to. Why do I feel like Sean isn't making quite the definative statement ithe article makes it appear?

Unless Iím reading it wrong the first article from 10-5 Sean is saying that he has a lot of ideas for the sequel but that no one talked with him yet while in the second from 10-8 it sounds like heís being consulted.  I will say it would seem weird for them to do a sequel without including some of the old cast and Sean is the best known I think.

He's just SUCH a nice guy! Wonderful change from so much that you read about celebrities!

That's a great article;  it's intereresting to read that Sean needed a stand-in because this didn't seem like the sort of movie to require one but I can see for lighting, sound and such.  Marxen had such nice words for Sean too and was fortunate to wk along side his idol.

Yes, he was!

Here's an article talking about Sean's favorite sports films, with comments by Sean.

http://www.latimes.com/entertainment/news/movies/la-showbiz7oct11-pg,0,7991190.photogallery?coll=la-home-entertainment&7

They were surprised he's smart? Where have they been living? Under a rock?

And BIG NEWS! The Colour of Magic will be shown in the USA on FOX!

I know this is a double post, but it was my understanding that that was ok if you have new info....I hope so. If not, forgive me.

Belleferret on LJ just sent out a heads up on Sean's latest project. This one is for kids, along with Disney. He will voice Oso, a warm, naive, and brave special agent solving mysteries for Disney Playhouse.

He's that sort of guy, Elizabeth!

Here's another lovely, if rather long, interview Sean did with Teen Hollywood.

http://www.teenhollywood.com/d.asp?r=160478&c=1038&p=1

Even HE thinks "Borderland" is disgusting! LOL He says it's for the "Saw" crowd. Definitely NOT me!

I hate to say this but it sounds as if the director is taking the lazy way out.  Iíve seen enough true crime pictures that if the movie is done subtly with emphasis on the detective work and light on the killings, they are really interesting and watchable.  With even Sean saying the movie is disgusting and for the "Saw" crowd, I donít know about this one.

I think you're right, Romeny. It sounded to me as if Sean didn't realize how gory this was going to be. It's TOTALLY understandable since all these things are added via computer later. All he saw was a blue screen and technological gadgets so the full impact didn't hit him when he was doing it. His "I'm glad I did it." sounded like something he felt he had to say. This IS his job and he can't be heard to say bad things about the film. I think he simply didn't realize what it was going to be.

He saw a chance to play something completely different and did it to show people he could. Now, seeing the finished product, I feel he kind of wishes he hadn't. I'm sure most actors have done that at one time or another.

I agree with you Rach that most actors if not all have looked back on their career and wished they hadnt done some roles
