SO would I. I remind myself that this is just a rumor, of course. Hopefully, we will get Sean's handsome face across the screen instead of animation!

I just got a notice concerning the animal charity calendar in which Sean is appearing with his pet chinchilla, Luigi. If you look closely att he right hand side of the calendar, you can see Sean and his fuzzy friend.

I'm looking for a larger sized version of this pic. I'm sure there's one out there somewhere. I just popped over to SANET to see if they had it and found this pic from Borderland. Creepy!

Is that SEAN, yes it's creepy! I chickened out in reading that book about the Borderland true events but I still look forward to seeing Sean in this movie. I think it'll be a wonderful turn for him.

Sean can do any character he chooses, and has. It's a bit frustrating to his fans to hear people say he's "just a hobbit" or only plays nice guys. We know better!
Borderland isn't a movie I would normally watch, but I'm looking forward to seeing Sean do something the general public doesn't expect.

Actually I thought Sean was the only actor I was familiar with before LOTR through Rudy but I realize now I’d seen Ian M, Viggo M and some others in mostly minor roles beforehand. I’ve learned a lot about Sean’s work through this site, which has been great; good actors don’t come out of thin air, they’ve been around quite a bit.

You know, I hesitate to talk about a "gifted" or "talented" actor. I am afraid that it trivializes the work factor in the parts Sean and the other actors play. I am intrigued by the entire process that goes on BEFORE an actor walks on to a stage or set. THAT'S what I would like to hear Sean, or Lij, or any of the actors I enjoy talk about.
Frankly, I'm more interested in that than I am in their favorite color or junk food. LOL

You're exactly right the process IS intriguing; I always loved the original Star Wars movies and got my hands on a ‘making of’ video that I watched over and over even thought it was frustrating that I didn’t hear enough from the actors pov. LOTR was the first movie that I was able to see and hear from the actors beforehand and I watched the appendices dozens more times than the movies. We never really heard enough however how they actually prepare themselves mentally for playing their scenes and how some of their earlier roles might have helped them.

I absolutely LOVED the bonus material on LOTR too! It is something I watch fairly frequently. You learn so much about the work behind the work...if that makes sense. How I would love to see more extras come out!
Ooooo...that Borderland picture is very SPOOKY. I am afraid it will be a little too grim for me. I am SUCH a wuss.

I’m a wuss too Culpie but some true crime movies are excellent; it’s fascinating to watch how the detectives solve the crime. I loved Helter Skelter, In Cold Blood, The Boston Strangler, Fargo and Deadly Matrimony, just to name a few. Hopefully the focus will be on solving the crime, not the gruesome details of the killings.

I'm a wuss as well, with the world's weakest stomach. There are even parts of LOTR that are too bloody for my taste. I have NO IDEA how I'm going to make it through this film but I'm determined to do it! The critics say that Sean's portrayal of Randall is the reason to watch the film. I can't let THAT go! LOL
I'll also have to own it, of course....Oh dear. I hate buying films I'll never watch again, but for Sean, anything.
Hugs, Rach

Never heard of that award, but I'm glad Meerkat Manor got it, whatever it is. Thanks for the link.

Sean's coming home!!!!!!!
According to my friend Belleferret, principle shooting on "The Colour of Magic" ends Sept. 29th. This means that Sean should be home for the release of The Final Season and we will hopefully see him doing promotional stints on the talk show circuit!
*tunes up her dvr
Actually, I've just gotten news that Sean will be a guest for a performance of a children's theater group on the 22nd, so he's either already home or will be tomorrow!
YAY!

I'm back!!!
I am glad I am not the only "wuss" out there regarding gory stuff. Romeny...hopefully you are right and they will focus on the detective stuff and not get too involved in the gore.
When flying I saw some episodes of Meerkat Manor and loved it! Glad it won that award...even if I don't know what the award is exactly.
TFS - oh boy! I am really curious to see how this movie does. Hopefully, it will be a HUGE success! And the possibility of Sean during some pre-release prep would be great! Maybe you might get to meet him, Rach!
Toodles for now, folks!
