Ok, I'm a bit confused but ok...
Not much Sean news right now. He's still filming in England, working on "The Color of Magic" at Pinewood Studios. what else films there that I've heard of? Bond movies? Dr Who?....Something...
Sean did finally have to cancel his appearance at the fan convention in Toronto as well as the one in Atlanta. Once he had cancelled Atlanta, I KNEW that was coming.It's the week before DragonCon.
Is anyone watching the new season of Meerkat Manor? Sean is great as always. His narration, the fact that he ACTS the story instead of just telling it, makes the program, as far as I'm concerned, though the writing is good as well.
I'm on the lookout for pics from "The Color of Magic" but I haven't found anything yet. I'll let you know when I do.
Just saw this. Sean and “his pet” (I’ve no idea which one) will appear on a new calendar from the PDSA, an organization in England that helps animals .

Thanks to my friend, Belleferret, for the last bit.
I plan to post more of the caps from Where the Day Takes You but this change of locations has me a bit confused. I'm not exactly sure where it should be. As soon as I find out, I'll let you all know.

I'm afraid not, Celebrian. He had to cancel that because he's filming in London.

Ok...I am a tad bit confused.  What happened to the other General Sean Thread? I went to post an entry and found the thread had been locked. Did it get to big? Is this where we all reside now? I just don't want to lose my connection with my fellow Sean Astin fans. 
See what happens when I stay offline too much. 
Celebrian, I saw that article on TORN too. I was scratching my head a bit because I thought it was cancelled. Then I thought maybe his schedule changes.  Hee hee...nice to have things clarified once again.

OK, let me clarify a few things...
What we want to accomplish with these "general" threads is that we get rid of all the "interview with Sean in magazine X" and "Sean on Jay Leno" threads. These all belong here.
We still do allow separate threads for each film.
Pictures belong in the picture thread, screencaps either in the respective film thread (if it's movie caps) or in this thread (if it's caps from tv appearances).
And yes, the previous thread was locked because it's too big. As of now, threads with more than 100 pages will be locked and a new one will be started.
I hope this makes things a bit more clear

It does, Crisitiel, and thank you. We just want to do what makes it easier on the mods. I've modded and had my own board and I understand the work involved.
Culpie, obviously you found this thread and I'm glad.

The good thing here too is we don't have to struggle so hard now to keep Sean on pp 1; also it used to be the 10 word rule didn't apply to the old thread & posting didn't affect your numbers either but I would imagine that might have changed now.
Yes I see the post count did change.

Thanks for the clarification, Cristiel! I admit I am a little slow sometimes. 
How about that folks! The Sean thread got too big. Wahoo! That means lots and lots of posting!
And yes, Rach, I did find ya all...kinda stumbled into it. Ahhhhh...

Well, I'm a bit embarassed because since they moved the thread here, there has been NO SEAN NEWS whatsoever! He's still in England shooting, as far as I know. DragonCon is this weekend and of course he won't be there (but I will be!)
I just wanted you all to know that I haven't forgotten you and as soon as there's more Sean news, you'll be the first to know!
