I didn't like the cartoon version of LOTR's . I managed to watch all of it, and was totally disappointed with the ending.

didn't see all of the animated LotR (boromir the viking!), but i love The Hobbit.....i just watched it the other day with my best friend (who is also a LotR freak), and we were quoting and singing along the whole time......it was my first introduction to Tolkien when i was....five or six, i think....it brings back memories of mystery and excitement......and i love that song at the beginning......"the greatest adventure is what lies ahead..."
