LOTR Classic Scenes (Empire Magazine)

So media was not a complete waste of time today. Was presented with last months Empire magazine, and was rather pleased with what I found inside. Was supposed to be looking for thrillers, but instead found a 12 page piece dedicated to The Lord of the Rings. Imagine my delight! Spent the rest of the lesson tearing pages out...
Here are little features of the article (which I shall finish cropping to a decent size and share as soon as I can)
The Classic Scenes countdown.

Awww! Cheers Taf!
Although am quite suprised at number one! But I did enjoy that whole conflict confrontation between Gollum and Smeagol.
I agree with number2 a whole lot! That was one of my favorite scenes in ROTK. And to this day everytime I see it, it brings a shiver down my spine.

thnks Taf, always nice to read something about LOTR.
my all time favourite scene is number 8, when the beakens are lit. i don't know why but it is just gorgious, it says so much about the world tolkien has creates and peter jackson had brought it alive! Love it!

very interesting...my order would have been different, but i like the choices that were made. only were is aragorn's "you bow to no one?" and sam's "there's some good in this world?"
but i guess they all can't be there can they?

You're welcome everyone Number 8, 6 and 3 are my personal all time favorites.
I did enjoy number 1. Though I wouldn't have put it in that position. It's just one of those little giggly moments. 'And they doesn't taste very nice does they precious?' 'No. Not very nice... at all.'

That part always makes me laugh, too. Though I didn't get it the first time I watched ROTK. The second time I watched it dawned on me what he meant and then it was really funny (as was the third time, the forth time, the fifth time, the sixth time etc )
