The movie that captivated me FIRST and brought me back to the theatre for two more times was the Fellowship.. it had the look and feel of JRR Tolkien's work the most... Oh how I love Frodo..

The Return Of The King, Extended Version, for sure... it has little bits of every film in it, and every place... the ents, hornburg, rohan, gondor, pelennor fields, rivendell, mount doom, the shire, hobbiton, the grey havens... plus i think it has the best acting and obviously the best battle scenes, as well as the interview are all really interesting, no weird guys who were somehow connected to the movie by the casting directors' third cousin twice removed wife's brother, rambling on about nothing. all of them were really fascinating, and the movie itself has amazingly good commentary that it is really insightful and it is so emotional and encapturing. I love it
