way, way, WAY too many....
i think the one i love the most is when frodo leaves for the gray havens. the way he gives merry, pippin and sam hugs and they all are so different. fitting for each of their personal struggles and identities.

My favourite Frodo moments? Gosh, it's true, there are so many!
The one that springs to mind is of Frodo sitting on the grass reading a book and upon hearing Gandalf's humming, he jumps up to meet Gandalf and Frodo looks at him with this childlike joy, which is so beautiful to look at.
In TTT I like the bit at the beginning where Frodo and Sam climb down the hill and need to use the Elvish Rope. I like how concerned Sam is for Frodo and how Frodo catches the Shire salt when it falls out of Sam's pocket. It is simply a scene I like very much.

I'd have to agree with gCaz, that part where he's reading a book and stands up...that's one of the only times you see Frodo smile, and it's the first time you see his eyes. And I love seeing the perfectly happy look on his face and his beautiful, pure smile...it truely shows what a great actor Elijah is.

Definitly the drinking scene. And when the hobbits say he's cracking and Frodo says, "And proud of it!" or something like that.

"And I'm gonna be 40!" - Sally "When?" - Harry "Someday!" -Sally "In eight years!" - Harry
I want you. I want you so bad. I want you so bad it's driving me mad, it's driving me mad.

Great topic!!
Oh my! Trying to decide a favorite Frodo scene is just TOO hard so I am going to cheat and pick one from each movie (even that is incredibly hard!!)
FOTR: I agree wtih a couple of you. When Gandalf dies, soon after they have run out of the mountain, when Aragorn calls his name and Frodo turns around and Frodo is crying. The look on his face is such a combination of sweet, sad, horrifying, and tender. It touches my heart every time.
TT: After Sam's speech when Sam helps Frodo to his feet. The look right after Sam says "There is some good in this world, Mr Frodo, and it's worth fighting for." I think the look on Frodo's face as he looks at Sam at that moment is very touching and sad, yet with a touch of hope.
ROTK: The "Do you remember the Shire" scene (my favorite scene in all the movies) is my favorite Frodo scene in this movie. Something about the way Frodo says "I can't recall the taste of food...(and the rest of what he says right then)" just gets to me. Elijah does such a good job in that scene. As far as I am concerned, that whole scene is an incredible feat in acting on both Elijah and Sean's part.

I agree with everyone's comments here. I find the beginning and end of the trilogy as one of my favorite Frodo scenes.
In FOTR, the first scene you see is the camera sweeping up to a smiling and innocent looking Frodo, upon hearing Gandalf arrive. In ROTK, the ending scene is the camera again sweeping up to a smiling but less innocent Frodo, who has endured many hardships and is ready to go off to the Gray Havens and be at peace.
Elijah is able to convey such different yet similar emotions in both those scenes without every uttering a word! Amazing!

He is absolutely amazing that way, isn't he? The first time I watched FOTR, before I knew he was Elijah Wood (just knew him as Frodo at that point ) I remember remarking to my husband that he could "speak" with his eyes. His face and eyes do express his every emotion in those movies. I find that incredible.
