I love scottish accents. actually i like accents in general. Kelsey- southern twang accens are cool! I guess I don't really have an accent...definately don't have a boston accent...but i do say 'wicked' a lot...and a lot a lot...i think it's a new hampshire thing

Speaking of Billy in general and especially of Billy's accent, allow me to quote from Sean Astin's book (page 152):
"I met Billy in those first days, too. My first impression of Billy was magical. I was totally enamored of him, in no small part because of his voice. I loved listening to Billy, and even though I could barely understand a word he said through his thick Scottish brogue, I got the feeling (borne out over the course of the production) that he was a really appealing, sweet kind of guy, the sort of man with whom I wanted to be friends. He was gentle and funny and very cool, very comfortable in his own skin."
I thought that was a dear, sweet description of Billy.

I find this hilarious I understand why it may be hard to understand for those not used to it. But I wouldn't quite say he had a "Thick Scottish brogue" Sean should go to Scotland more often. Lol!!

I thought that was kind of funny, too. I don't find Billy's accent hard to understand but I do find it distinct and beautiful.

I suppose it depends on how used to it you are, as to how well you understand what's being said by a Scot.
*Shrug*
Sean was so sweet in what he said though. And it's so true too. He just amazes you.
