(Sorry if there's a thread like this, I didn't know if there was. If there is an inspirational thread, you can lock this one away. )
Has anyone ever gotten inspired by Elijah?
It could be a yes, or a no. Even a, "He's still inspiring me! "
Disscuss for what he had inspired you to do.
Elijah has inspired me to write a book, which I will dedicate to him. I'm using his first name as one of my main character's, Elijah Stook. (Stu-k... if that's possible to say.) I understand that he is interested in fantasy (from The Hobbit) and I think this is a good start to where I can finally write a book. I have many ideas for it, as well as characters.
(And with so much research done on mythical creatures and reading so many fairytales, I think this'll be easier than Blue Captivation.)
The book is about a young farmboy named Elijah who raises two sibling fire dragons named RedStar and Flare. (they're brother and sister; RedStar is much older, while Flare is still young, very naive and curious) Elijah then is called in a dream one night for help... and it is the princess of the country who is calling out, who has been trapped in a crystal cavern for so many years. Elijah sets out on a journey with his two dragons, and assisted by a tiger once, and follows up to battling harpies or cockatrices the next! But an angry manticore who has prisoned the princess hopes that young Elijah Stook won't be able to ruin his plans just yet...
~* I hope that isn't too much information. I'm a ginormous fan of fantasy and romance, I think this is a good place to start. I have never read The Hobbit or Lord of the Rings, but I hope it will be enough fantasy and adventure for Elijah to enjoy. Especially the mythical creatures, too!
Has anyone else been inspired by Elijah?

Elijah was very much inspired me, a good question, btw! he got me more cool movies like LOTR and he inspired me to write tons of poems that i hadn't thought of. Elijah is one awesome guy so i'm not surprised he inspired me so much, he still does.

Elijah is absolutely my muse. I use alot of Elijah related images...his face, eyes features when I draw and paint.
He's also inspired countless poems, fanfiction, short stories, novels and so forth. Tho I do ultimately change my characters from Eljiah there are aspects of him that I'd like to see ina particular character.
Other celebrities are inspiring too but not nearly so much as Elijah.
More bizarrely I've found looking at Elijah to inspire me to work on everything from home made cards to abstract art...even if the finished product has nothing to do with Elijah something about him is definately very "moving" I guess.
Your book sounds awesome. I hope it works out really well. Fantasy and romance genres are really good. The Hobbit and LOTR are both a great read but The Hobbit is a little more of a light hearted read.

I guess you could say he's inspired me. I wrote stories based on lotr and cast members and drew pics of Elijah as Frodo.
