I like to call him Lij, plus I also call him Petal which is my own made up pet name for him. Although I am not sure I should have admited that.

Quote from: Lorienel on October 11, 2006, 08:29:13 am He was called Frodo a long time after LotR came out and it annoyed him first but then Frodo became his nickname as well... I suppose?
He's also called Honeybee...
In my country they tend to say that beloved child has many names.
| I agree.......... he comes by many names. All of which describes him.

I think that could be just one of the ways its spelt when its pronouced. I'd go for Lij, though. All the time. I feel "Lidge" spelt like this, is just so formal... Like Nigel or Ernest. Lol. But I like it... Lij

jeeze..I've only ever been able to call him Elijah to his face..that is after the first time when he was known as uhhbludbwabuwaba...Elijah is much easier to say...well usually unless he is sitting in front of you.
I refer to him as Lij mostly, his highness works for me too, ive never called him or refered to him as Frodo, though I don't think it ever annoyed him to be called Frodo.
I sometimes refer to him in posts or Email as E, E dogg, Elwood...but I think those names are not as frequently used by fans.
A love the comment about a beloved child having many names..it certainly fits well in this case.

I think calling him Elijah is just the natural thing for me to call him, but I occasionally call him Lij too. I think the same way as Lorienel I don't think his name is ugly or dumb at all, I think its awesome because his name is different and I think being different is great ! Besides my name is so plain and ordinary .

I call Elijah, Elijah. I just figure that since I am not one of his friends it's not right to call him that. Same goes for Billy, Orlando, and Dominic.
By the way; I love the name Heather.

Thank You ! I imagine that your name is pretty nice to though. I'm named after the flower Heather, which smells very nice (kinda like lavender) and is quite pretty.
