Elijah Shines in Hobbit-sized Film

Perhaps surprisingly, actor Elijah Wood is riding the epic success of "The Lord of the Rings" to lead the art house film "Everything is Illuminated."
Perhaps not.
Talking to 11Alive.com's Sean Rowe, Wood shed some light on his post-Frodo roles, which include a cannibalistic killer in "Sin City" and a supporting turn in "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind."
"It's interesting the focus on 'The Lord of the Rings' and it makes sense," Wood said. "But, I'm always looking to do different things and always looking to challenge myself and be a part of different kinds of films.
And, "Illuminated" posed a new challenge in itself: The premise of starring in an ambitious film helmed and written by an actor-turned-first-time director, a rock-n-roll-front man turned first-time actor, and a story spoken in three different languages.
"I was so in love with the material, so in love with the characters and how colorful and well-written they are," Wood said. "I sat down with Liev [Schreiber, director and screenwriter] for about two hours after I'd read the script, and he'd come out to Los Angeles and … he was so confident and so clear about what his vision for the film was that I knew I wanted to be a part of it."
"Everything is Illuminated" opens nationwide on Friday, September 23.

No I don't I'm a very weird person  I really should be in bed right now but am not tired at all funny though I never am It's 1:00am right now so I might get to sleep around 4:00am and then wake up at 7:00am and I get back on the computer lol and of course do some school-work I mean I'm home-schooled so I should do school-work right? LOL I am on A&F all the time really I am. Maybe I 'll be off for 4 hours, 6 hours at tops

This was it, what I wanted to ask you too, ElijahFrodo, because I know your age and to be honest I wouldn't allow this to my daughter who is in the same age than you. But as I see you are home-schooled, maybe I understand. Home-schooling is not very popular here in Germany so my daughter has to go to school every day at 7 am in the morning, no way to stay at the computer until 4 am in the morning and leave the house at 7 to go to school. 
I got the download too it's amazing how Elijah is talking about his movies I really like that a lot.

Awww, that interview was so sweet. I've never seen those clips of Alex on the dance floor! This looks like such an entertaining, good movie!!!!
I'm so happy I at least get to see this movie sometime. Can't wait.

that is quite amazing. i wish i could live on 4 hours sleep. but if i do that i will turn into a total b*tch. and you probably don't even drink coffee because of your age?!? what's your secret?
