I'm going as well. I think it will be lovely, and even if Elijah does not turn up I am excited about the movies and just spending some time in Edinburgh. But yeah, it would be grat if he turned up...

I receive alerts about Chralie Hunnam news and this was in the latest. It looks as though Elijah is definitely going to be there. See the next to last paragraph.
Rattle And Hunnam
It's an away game in Edinburgh for Green Street 03 August 2005 We caught up for a few words with Charlie Hunnam recently. Which was nice. Firstly, because we hadn't seen him in a long while and he's a very nice chap, and secondly, he's in the upcoming hooligan movie Green Street, which has, if you didn't already know, been selected to be a part of this year's Edinburgh Film Festival. "I'm thrilled," said Hunnam. "I've never been to this festival before. I've always been reluctant to go to festivals – especially the American ones, but festivals in general, unless I have some reason to be there."
The youthful Geordie has been living in L.A. for the last 18 or so months in self-imposed exile from performing while he re-assessed his career. "When I went to play Nicholas Nickleby, although I was very grateful to get the opportunity, I didn't feel like I was putting my best foot forward." Which is unusual, given that he's a good looking lad, and could easily be out there, cleaning up in rom-coms left, right and centre. But that's obviously not what he wants – as his character in Green Street amply demonstrates.
As Pete Dunham, the young general of The Green Street Crew, he's not exactly pretty, certainly isn't glamorous, and isn't even immediately appealing. What he is, though, is charismatic, and a great character for a sharp acting mind like Hunnam's (check him out in the movie, trust us) to tackle. The same goes for the film's subject matter as a whole, which didn't phase him - au contraire: "I thought think ultimately the message is as responsible as it could have been dealing with that subject matter. [Football related violence] is a reality - it's a very real part of English culture, and therefore why shouldn't we make a film about it? There is the worry that it glamorises or glorifies violence, and obviously that's an irresponsible thing to do, but I think that ultimately the message of the film is a responsible one." And it's this that is sure to cause debate about the film wherever it's screened – Edinburgh or otherwise.
Which brought us back to the Festival. "It's very exciting - I'm really looking forward to going up there, and having as bit of a look around. Elijah and I are going, and I think (Green Street's director) Lexi Alexander is going to be there, and I know Leo Gregory will be there – he actually has two films there this year."
Fans of Charlie, Elijah, Leo, Lexi, or West Ham can see the film's British Gala screening on August 23rd and there's another showing on the following evening.

I would love to go to this premiere but I don't want to go alone and I don't think my mum will be able to go but by the time I do know it will be too late.
I'll be looking forward to all the pics.

Thanks Yeux, Sabine's written me a PM.
Jenny, good luck with convincing your mum, maybe she needs a skirt that you can only get in Edinburgh or something like that?
Be extra nice to her and hopefully she'll say yes.
