i don't think you were at all. i'm sure he would be willing to be her friend if she was, you know, bigger than a size 6 or 8 or 10..
i'm not saying he's judgemental or anything, and he could be the exception, as there is always a few, he could very well see past a girls weight.
but it's just the sad reality that -most- guys won't look twice at a girl if they aren't what society praises as worthy, or acceptable..
i'm proof, i was chunky as a pre-teen, and i lost weight. i never got a speck of attention from guys when i was "heavier," i never got any stares when i went out in public, i never was hit on.. and when i lost weight, i noticed a difference, to say the least.

i know what your doing wrong, or at least i think i do. when you click the quote button, and the reply page comes up, and you see the paragraph the other person composed. go to the very bottom of it and hit enter a few times, so that everything you say will be at the bottom. that should fix it.

If i was listening to one of my fave Smashin Pumpkin albs (which always do when im out on mah own) I would just go up say hi... tell how amazing i think he is (but not over the top) then i would say omg i love this song (one earpiece still in the ear) and ask him if he wants to listen... hopefully get into a conversation about music because i love it soo much.. then offer him a cigarette.. then say after talking for ages on the street.. 'hey do you fancy a coffee? my treat!' if he says he cant ill just say 'well it was nice meeting you.. hopefully we'll bump into each other some other time' then hug him and say goodbye!
Thats if i didn't stutter fall or pass out... and i also doubt very much he would be walking down the streets in Birmingham England!

I'd probably (since it's a once-in-alifetime-opportunity) probly be like, "Hey, Elijah!!" or at elast i hope i would..i'll have to see till that time, man! but anyways then be like do u mind if i get a picture with you? and can i ahev eyr autograph?? yer my fav. actor!!" lol i know..sappy man

I don't know what I would say to him... but I would do it with my frrrrench accent ! Sure it's so easy for me !
I'm sure he would fall in love... with my frrrrench accent and would want to know me !
He would say "I'm Elijah Wood" and I would reply : "I'm Arwen from OLC, what ! you don't know me yet ! You're missing something !"

Well, I think I'll just walk up to him and tell him how beautiful (!!!!) and great he is... not very impressive I know but then again didn't he say he valued honesty? Then I'd grab my chance to hug and kiss him, of course.... he seems very huggable based on the diff. fan encounters that I've read...
