Oh, Tolkien had written TONS of other books on Middle Earth! He's written the LotR trilogy, The Hobbit, and the Silmarillion, of course. And also Unfinished Tales (kind of expands on a lot of the stories in the Silmarillion, and tell more of Men and wizards and stuff..), as well as a book called the Tolkien Reader, which consists of the Adventures of Tom Bombadil, and some fairy essays, and I think 'Leaf by Niggle', among other things if I'm not mistaken (haven't read it yet!). He's also written some short stories, though I only know of Farmer Giles of Ham. And.. wow, I can't believe you haven't heard of these! He's written a whole series of History of Middle Earth books.. they go from the very beginning of the earth until like, after LotR is over. There are something like 12 or 13 books in that series, I think! And he's also written 2 books of Lost Tales..
That's all I can think of at the moment.. hope I helped, though! And.. happy reading!

It's no longer in print, but if you can get your hand on a copy, read it.
It's actually a book of poems that describe the adventures of Tom.

I have only made it through The Hobbit, The LOTR trilogy and The Silmarillion. I hope to get through the other books! There's such a wealth of stories there - I'm so excited! All I need is more time. I'm glad to hear that there's a whole bit about Tom though! He was neat.
