Do you mean I'm the first one to open this thread?  I thought there should be a thread about this by now! This is what rowling has written after the 7th and last books of the Harry Potter series .. Still not here but it was published in the UK on Dec. 4th or something?! has anyone read it??

Hey Shayda! I've read it - I just didn't think to open a thread! I hope you get to read it soon - I really enjoyed it. Each story is followed by a commentary by Dumbledore himself, which were pretty funny.

I gave the book to a friend for Christmas, but it's in German and I'd rather read it in English. I hope to get it soon. I didn't know there was a commentary by Dumbledore, how cool! @maryd: thanks for helping me with the siggy.

I also read this recently and enjoyed it. We gave it to my son for Christmas and he and I as well as both of my parents read it over the holidays. I love that JKR has created such a complete world that she can put out these little extras for fans.
