There's something evil going by the term "lack of inspiration", though...

Elijah Jordan Wood (Characteristics) - too mindbogglingly, devastatingly gorgeous to be plain human. Possibly one of the few recorded cases of a male succubus, thus to be treated with extreme caution....mind the eyes!

What a great thread. I wish I could tell you anything. I love to write but I don't publish any of it. I have pages and pages stuffed under my mattress. Another fourty or fifty notebooks. I hope to get a book of fiction completed in a year or two, but I am way to buisy with other stuff.

Music always works well. Or some times a change of scenery. One time I went to see a band called "Off Kilter", it's just guys who play old Metallica Cover tunes on bag pipes. ha ha ha. Imagine.
But it kinda gets the old right brain in gear.

Well, I wouldn't call myself 'a writer' but I have written as a hobby since childhood and have hundreds of notes and half-written manuscripts littering my house.
I've always dreamed of becoming a published author but it's anybody's guess if that'll ever happen. I'm not giving up though, I enjoy it too much.
For now I'll settle for posting some stories in the fanfiction section, so stay tuned folks!....

Same here, lol! But I think to be a published autor you need an exceptional gift, which I know I just don't have.
Victoria, for writers block, music is good, and also just reading something else. That always inspires me. If you have a livejournal, they have propmpts for journal entries up sometimes which can just jog your memory.

I was planning to write a book, but then thought so not to any more because I suck! at English and writing and all that. I was going to write about something ( trilogy ) :p. So yeah, then I thought again if I should so I might start over the summer.

It doesn't matter if your English isn't great - just write when and what you feel like. I only write because it's fun, not because I'm good at it or anything. Good luck!

Hey friends! I've written several short stories, one or two shared here and a few kept private. I've also written a play and tons of poetry. My latest accomplishment that was quite the challenge was a narrative/epic poem that I just completed this past semester. It ended up being fifty pages. It is titled The Faithless Masquerade. I do, however, hope to be able to write a book/novel some day.

Hello all.
IF any of you are looking to be writers, but don't necessarily want to commit all your time to it just yet (busy with othet things, too much to do at the moment, waiting for inspiration, etc.), you should definitely, definitely get little things published a little bit at a time. It helps you get noticed, and it doesn't take up time if you write a poem or short story, or even submit an old one you've completed. I have a poem that I just got published in a book and I'm only 17; it took about 6 months! I'm headed for more (SMALL) publishing, but it's a great start! Look online for places that need writers, or send what you have to contests or websites and such. One I like that is easy to access and use is actually Poetry.com, which I thought was a scam but actually wasn't! So, please, if you have the time, check that site and others out and you will deifnitely get something published by the end of the year Hey, at least it's a start!'
Good luck and the best to all of you. If any of you become writers, I'd love to hear from you or see anything you might have done already.
