As a custom title for me, useful I would like it to be. Something descriptive, about me I give: I am "The Limerick Lady."

I just finished Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister which was an interesting take on the Cinderella story.

I saw the musical before I read the book, but I really enjoyed both. The book is very different in a lot of ways (more sexual, more angsty) but it was excellent. I bought Son of a Witch shortly afterwards to see what else Gregory Maguire had done with his world, and although it was a little strange, also thoroughly enjoyable.
Slight digression here - love, love, love the musical. I was lucky enough to see it with Idina Menzel when the show moved to London (twice!) and got her autograph. She's absolutely gorgeous. The only thing about the musical is that the songs aren't particularly memorable (well, they are for me because I've listened to them obsessively) but it really is a spectacle that you should all experience

I finished Mirror, Mirror, which is a retelling of the Snow White story last night. I didn't enjoy this one as much as his other three books that I've read.
