Oh but it's worth it. Ohhhh is it worth it. *says the HP thread member*
I can't remember the last book I read - I've been reading A Midsummer's Night Dream in English class so I'll just say that. I haven't had time to read a book for pleasure but I have a list of books I want to check out.

*restrains curses* I have to read A Tale of Two Cities I don't have the attention span for this! It just keeps going and going and going Its not that its bad (Dicken's has a gift for discription) its just so slow... I've gone to putting LotR characters into it to mix it up (I know, its pathetic but I have to get though this book.) I can't wait to get though this and onto something that spikes my intrest abit more (like the world encyclopedia verbatum )

I'm reading Undead and Unwed, which is pretty interesting, but i haven't got very far. I'm into Vampire stuff, and it's hard for me to find a good Vampire book.
I'm almost finished reading Black House by Stephen King and Peter Straub- it is VERY freaky.
I recently finished Lake of Souls by Darren Shan. It was ok, but the first few books were better. I only keep reading because i want to see how it ends. They're pretty predictable books, and Lake of Souls went on way to long. It took like 150 pages for one measly little thing to happen. It kind of pointless, but i still read it. I don't like to give up on something.
Im kinda rambling, very sorry.

I'm trying to read the Constants of Nature, which is about the underlying structure of the Universe being found in certain unchangable numbers like Pi and the speed of light and so forth. It's dense and difficult at times, but I feel like I'm getting my money's worth, as it should keep me busy for a while.

The last book I read thoroughly through all the way was The Skin I'm In. I read it in a day. It was extremely good, and rather powerful. Also, Sammy Keyes and the Hotel Thief. Go read Sammy. She is the bomb.

Like Water For Chocolate, and before that Stephen King's On Writing. The first one wasn't as good as I was expecting it to be -- a little too random and just not satisfying at the end -- but On Writing is fantastic. It's the most exciting and inspiring piece of non-fiction I've ever read -- he makes it sound like anything is possible. I can't wait to actually get something published!

The Blue Sword. I forget who wrote it. It was pretty good, I started it over spring break and had to ask my sister if I could bring it back with me as it was her book. (Actually it was a book I bought her for Christmas but anyway) I'll return it to her when I go home for Easter.

The day my bum went psycho. i found it in the kids section of the library and just knew i had to read it, with a brilliant title like that. the best bit is my boyfriends mum works in the library and so sees all the books i have taken out in the past, and so now probably thinks i am rather odd.
