One of characters is named Ty a.k.a Tyler that I hated, but loved. It was really good! I also finished a book called Impossible by Nancy Werlin. A really great, great read. Te storyline, the writing it was great. I recommend it! Re:What's the last book you read? « Reply #1653 on: January 05, 2011, 07:38:04 am » Just finished reading Mysterious Skin by Scott Heim.  The subject matter is rather dark... including child abuse, male prostitution and supposed alien abduction   Despite this, I didn't find the book heavy going at all. Mysterious Skin was adapted to a film (starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt) a few years back, but I'm yet to see it. Prior to this, I read Lost Souls by Poppy Z. Brite.  It's a vampire novel and definitely NOT for the faint hearted!  Believe me when I say there's not an ounce of Twilight-esque romance in this book. It's about the struggle and triumph of a young girl after her innocence was robbed.
