The last book I read was Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher. It was an intense story. It kind of made me mad, also, though i never have that feeling

Since Saturday, I've read the first four Harry Potter books.  It's been ages since I read them and I'd forgotten just what a brilliant read they are.  I'm enjoying them so much that I can't put them down.

Just read "The Lovely Bones" by Alice Sebold AND saw the movie adaptation.

IMO they were equally good.  Not great tho.

I read the book before I watched the movie and after and I love both - but esp the movie - awesome

I finished reading Saving Rafael by Leslie Wilson yesterday. I though the story itself was good, but the writing style needed a bit work

Finished the whole Harry Potter series (I'd forgotten how brilliant they are) and also 'High Fidelity' by Nick Hornby (I've read that loads of times, but it's still great).  Now I'm stuck for something else to read!

Finished re-reading 'Two Caravans' by Marina Lewycka (great stuff, I really recommend it).  Also 'Charmed Life' by Diana Wynne Jones - I read the whole series when I was about 11 and it's so good to go back and read them again!

Finished and enjoyed 'Miss Chopsticks' by Xinran.  It's about three sisters in China who leave their little village to find work in a big city.  It was really interesting to read about what Chinese society is like nowadays, but as well as that it was a good storyline and the characters were well-developed.

I'm managing to find time to read even now I'm back at uni, which is nice.  The last book I read was 'High Fidelity' by Nick Hornby - brilliant, I can't recommend Nick Hornby enough.

Just finished 'Juliet, Naked' by Nick Hornby.  It's such a great read - it's about dead-end relationships, hopelessness and new beginnings, and it's actually really funny, even though it probably doesn't sound like it from my description.   I've also been reading a lot of cookbooks lately, which is fun.

I think I'm going to go book-shopping later, because I keep re-reading the same things over and over and I'm in need of something new.
