Has anyone ever read any of these books:
                                                  Cirque Du Freak
                                                  The Vampire's Assistant
                                                  Tunnels Of Blood
                                                  Vampire Mountain
I'm not sure if any of you have.
I find them quiet interesting actually. It depends on what genre of books your into. It is the story about a young boy who becomes a half vampire. I dunno.. I've taken a liking to them...Am I alone in this one?

I think they're only up to seven in America, but yeah, there's 12.

www.darrenshan.com (I think) is the website. The address is in the front of the books. It's basically the online community via the message board, and it has stuff like photos and Darrens biography and theres even a bit with deleated scenes from the books. It's good!

Book five was my favourite. It's really well written and has an amazing plot twist!
I did like book 1 though- some of the acts described sound great!
How bout you?

Seeing as, so far, I've only read up to book 4. I think that I enjoyed the first on the best.

*bites lip*
I really want to get the fifth book.. but I haven't seen it around. Maybe I can order it of the internet! I'll get it somehow. Who is your favourite character?

If you go to Amazon.co.uk you can get all the way upto book 12.

My favourite character (from upto book 4) is Evra. He's just so damn cool! Lol. You? Are you registering on the message board or not bothering?

Amazon, yah, I'll try that. Thnx!

Hmmm, my favourite character would have to be either Evra or Darren, but they all seem to interest me.  About the site.. should I register.. do you recomend it?

I do recomend it 'cos it's a right laugh! Darren Shan himself actually talks on it too. Get a global account though, because he's split the board now so there's a book forum, then a chat forum if you follow a different link, and you need a global account (or two accounts which is what I've got and is inconvenient 'cos I have 2 different names!) to use both.

The actual author himself. He's most active on the book 12 board at the moment, but he doesgo on the ones for the other books, and he has a forum specifically for questions for him directly. It's quitecool really!
