i think that both HP and LOTR's authors took a lot from myths everybody knows, and thazt's why we find similarities...for instance, lots of things are taken from the bible or from greek tragedies and mytholigies in HP. In LOTR as well.

I just thought it when I went into Smiths today. And saw yet ANOTHER book about him is being released. Does anyone actaully buy them?!

I tried to read Moby Dick once, and that didn't work and isn't ever happening again. Great Expectations was really boring too... but I liked Oliver Twist and A Christmas Carol. Other stuff I wouldn't read is romance (which my mom loves) and political books. Some non-fiction but it depends because I've had to read some things that turned out to be really interesting.

Vanity Fair's an awesome book. strongly recomend it
I dont like stupid, fake science fiction...its just like "get to the ship and press d56tymdiw6 and we shall go to planet 63 galaxy t!" that was stupid, lol.
Political books....some good, some bad...\ Im a big michael moore fan, so i read all his books and pretty much everyone whos accossiated with that kinda stuff.
