It's like a rule I decided one day, but I never apply it lol that's why I ask you what books are 'crappy'?? it depends on taste, and in general no books can be said to be crappy. to me, HP is crappy.
Etahiel: thank god, i've found someone who won't read HP!!!

You guys don't know what you're missing. I thought I'd never read them until I had to read #2 for school. I decided I'd better read #1 first, and I was hooked.
I'll probably never read Shakespeare unless it's mandatory for school. As much as I loved reading Romeo & Juliet in English last year, I enjoy a book (er...play) that doesn't take so much energy to figure out what it means. Hmm.
Mer, I agree...No Charles Dickens for me. I had to read Great Expectations as well, I was just about dying.
Anything political, as well. Shame I have to read "Democracy In America" for summer reading. Gah, so boring!

yeah, shakespeare is awesome, but i can understand that some people do not like his writing...romeo and juliette is so funny, so tragic, so burlesque!!! lol i mean how two young people can possibly kill themselves out of love?? it happens in books only, it's kinda like those romance books, lol macbeth is better
LOL Etahiel

yes, Shakespeare's tragedies are too.. tragic I also like Mackbeth. And Hamlet is also one of my favourites;] I think that his plays are real even in our times, they will be real forever;] He also has great comedies, I read Wives from Windsor, but it was long time ago;)

I don't think I can say there are many books I will never read. Basically only the annoyingly annoying series, like Babysitters club, and Sweet Valley High. Which my friend tried for ages to get me to read but I didn't. Apart from books like that, cos I mean really, I wouldn't call them proper literature, I will read mostly anything.
Haha, I sound so snooty

I will never read romance novels!!! Blah! I hate them! Books with romance in them, those are nice(because I'm a hopeless romantic when it comes to that sort of thing) but the shirtless hero guy books bother me.
I don't like political novels... it's like watch the Weather Channel.
I don't like too many horror novels, although some of Stephen King's stuff is really good.
But I love fantasy... and Shakespeare!!!
I was a total HP hater at one time too, but I was at my friends house one day(and she's been obsessed forever) it was around the time that POA came out, she couldn't stop talking about it, I picked it up... and now I'm hooked, very excellent series imo.

Just books that don't seem to appeal to me. It's all about my taste books, whether or not they look intresting.
