I just started to read it. I like it so far. It's one of those books that got my attention right in the begining.

I look at this book everytime when I'm in a book store. I look at the cover and think "it's can be great, it can be something like Silmarillion for example". The dragon on the cover looks at me and says "soo why didn't you try and read it yet?" LOL I think, that someday if I will have time to read it, I will.

I finished Eragon a few days ago and I'm almost 1/3 of the way through Eldest. I'm enjoying them. They are Tolkien-esque, but I am enjoying them on their own level.
My husband read them and liked them and he's reading Eldest with my son now and my son likes it too.

My fav character does not get shown till towards the end. His name is Murtagh. I also like the Elf they introduce at the end. Yah, you should read it because I'll start confusig people very soon, lol.
|
Murtagh is my favourite character too! I love this book its great and I am waiting for eldest to come out in paper back. I would recommend for anyone who liked it to read "The Merlin Conspiracy" its not about king arthur merlin though. I would say its a little bit like a cross between narnia, lotr and northern lights.

I have just started to read Eragon. I really love it! It's so intriguing. I am totally into dragons and fantasy novels, so this is a definite thumbs up.
