It's Father's Day here in the UK today. I'm a bit of a daddy's girl. Do you feel closer to one parent than to the other? Or do you get on just as well with both?

to be honest - don't really get on with either parent tho can sometimes - its complicated..it's like I get annoyed when with them for too long and notice if they are funny with me ie offer to take us for coffee then totally forget things like that - I would be much happier if I never had to live with them again it was bad enough after 7 yrs having to move back in for 11 months But I still love them

It's father's day here in the US as well. I actually feel closer to my mom than my dad... but I guess that's probably because he worked nights my whole life and so I didn't see him as much as my mom, especially since she homeschools me.
Sometimes I get really irritated at him... I wish I could be a better daughter. Maybe now that he works days I'll get to spend more time with him, and be closer to him than I was before.
