People say I've got the "gift of the gab" (gab/gabble = talking too much, for those of you who aren't native English-speakers.)
Hmm... I don't think I am particularly gifted in any area. I've been told I can write and draw reasonably well... as can my 11 year old daughter.
And both my kids are gifted at various sports. (They didn't get THAT from me I assure you! )
My uncle is musically gifted... he's never had lessons but can play any song he hears "by ear" - that is to say without sheet music or learning the piece. He can play piano, guitar, banjo and harmonica.

Be yourself. Let who you are, what you are, what you believe, shine through every sentence you write, every piece you finish.

I wouldn't say I was gifted at anything naturally. I'm a quick learner, but that's about it. Everything I'm good at has come from working really hard at it.

I've got multiple gifts actually.
I learn pretty quick and easily from books. I can pick up new languages fairly easily. I can translate my emotions into words when it comes to poems. I can tell how people feel even if they act the exact opposite or don't tell me. I can sometimes tell what is going to happen and when something is not.

Quote from: Carina on February 16, 2009, 03:17:45 pm What you said about knowing how people feel even if they don't tell you is very interesting. Are you (almost) always right? The concept of the EQ (empathy quotient) is pretty well established nowadays. People who have a high EQ have high empathy.

I am always right, actually
Lately I've been developing the gift of knowing what will come. I knew my two friends were going to have a relationship, eventhough one of them told me he isn't gay and never will. I just KNEW the two of them were going to be together and it has happened. I can see entire scenes as well. I know conversations before they've even started, I know who's gonna say what, when and how.
