I finally got round to seeing 'Shaun of the Dead' last week, and really enjoyed it - I don't normally like blood-and-gore, but I'm wiling to make an exception for the comedy of Simon Pegg and Nick Frost. Pretty great.
Also, 'The Other Boleyn Girl' today - set in Tudor times, and focusing on Anne Boleyn and her sister Mary. I thought it was really good. I watched it with my sister, and it was strange because one of us liked Anne and the other liked Mary better. Good story, but it makes me wonder how much of it was actually true, and how much was just speculation.

The last movie I watched was Twilight Saga: New Moon. It was all right... I prefered the big, fluffy and CGI'd wolves to the odd vampires. (Dakota Fanning scared the crud outta me! )
My sister went to Wal-Mart at midnight on Friday and bought it with her friends. So I decided to see for myself.

Rewatched '500 Days of Summer'. Such a beautifully quirky film. Much as I like Summer, though, she doesn't know a good thing when she has it - if Joseph Gordon-Levitt was my boyfriend, I wouldn't be letting him go so easily.

'Alice in Wonderland' - the new remake. Pleasantly surprised.
'Walk The Line' - seen it loads of times before, but it's just brilliant. Johnny Cash = amazing.

Just finished watching 'An Education' and I was a wreck by the end - started crying from when Jenny and Jack had the conversation through the door. There was just something so sad and broken about that scene. Such an identifiable film.

"The Prestige" - starring Christian Bale, Hugh Jackman, Michael Caine, David Bowie and Andy Serkis.
This story centres on magic, rivalry, revenge, plot-twists galore and DAVID-freakin'-BOWIE - what more can anyone ask of a film?!

^ I completely loved The Prestige when I saw it - I keep looking for it on DVD but somehow I've never come across it. It's brilliant.
Last film I saw was School of Rock. Seen it countless times, but it's still great.
