Let who you are, what you are, what you believe, shine through every sentence you write, every piece you finish. * Offline Gender: Posts: 3707 Going against the grain of society Re:What's the last movie you've seen? « Reply #1172 on: March 21, 2010, 04:44:22 pm » I finally got round to seeing 'Shaun of the Dead' last week, and really enjoyed it - I don't normally like blood-and-gore, but I'm wiling to make an exception for the comedy of Simon Pegg and Nick Frost.  Pretty great.  Also, 'The Other Boleyn Girl' today - set in Tudor times, and focusing on Anne Boleyn and her sister Mary.  I thought it was really good.  I watched it with my sister, and it was strange because one of us liked Anne and the other liked Mary better.  Good story, but it makes me wonder how much of it was actually true, and how much was just speculation. It was all right... I prefered the big, fluffy and CGI'd wolves to the odd vampires. (Dakota Fanning scared the crud outta me!  ) My sister went to Wal-Mart at midnight on Friday and bought it with her friends. So I decided to see for myself. Last film I saw was School of Rock.  Seen it countless times, but it's still great.
