Favourite composers?

Hey everyone,
I don't think we have a thread for composers. So decided to make one. I LOVE classical music. Not many young people my age now are into it, which is unfortunate 
Anyway, my favourite composers back in the historical times are:
Chopin,
Beethoven,
Mozart,
Tchaikovsky,
Vivaldi,
Rachamninoff,
Bach
(I have more.... but not coming at the top of my head now )
Now in the 21st century,
James Horner, Hans Zimmer and Andrew Lloyd Webber
Also, like Oscar Hammerstein II and Richard Rogers

I'm not very familiar with what historical music goes with which composer, but I really like that classical music.  Beethoven, Mozart, Bach...
My favorite modern composers would be...
Howard Shore (definitely) 
Harry Gregson-Williams
and Klaus Baldet
lol, those are from LOTR, Narnia, and POTC.

well with my parents both playing violin in halle and bbc phil I have been bought up on classial music and gone to a lot of concerts. I like many different people just dont know all the names. I like all that you listed Raquel apart from andrew lloyd webber, dont know about vivaldi?

elizabeth- vivaldi is a famous violinist. You sure will know him if you listen to one of his famous work: The Four Seasons.

Yes, Pachelbel.... thats is like his famous piece
Immediate Music! I love them as well! I LOVE Lacrimosa..... gets that action vision, LOL

^^ I once played Pachelbel Canon for a piano recital I think. Great song, very fun to play.

^ Thats great! I used to know how to play a few bars, but I forgot now I am taking piano lessons again, so hopefully that song can be taught.
Oh anyone into Shubert and Strauss?
