Is anyone here familiar with Imogen Heap?, she has an amazing voice and recently I discovered the album she made under the name frou frou, actually I have to thank Manuj for introducing me with her dreamlike indiemusic, he gave the cd as a present when we met  (more about Manuj on the Misc thread  )

i LOVE Imogen. she's a musical genius.
i think like her solo stuff better, but what she did with Frou Frou is also fantastic. she's so unique, which is what i love about her. you will probably never see Imogen Heap or Frou Frou copy-cats running around because it's not something many people can pull off as well as she has.
"Hide and Seek" is one of the most beautiful songs ever recorded. and i think my favorite from her cd Headlock is "Loose Ends." that crazy, high-pitched scream still gives me chills.
bottom line: Imogen rocks.

I don't know Frou Frou, but one of my favourite bands, Boys Like Girls covered them and I fell in love with the song. It's soooo pretty!!
I just listened to the original track and, as I expected, I like the cover better. I guess it is because I'm used to this version and the other sound pretty different.

I don't know Frou Frou either, but Imogen's songs "Speeding Cars" and "Hide and Seek" are two of my favourite songs ... although I've since heard a couple of male artists cover Hide and Seek and do it better, imho.
