I think the best I've been to is a New Zealand band called Salmonella Dub - I've seen them twice, they're just amazing live and the crowd is always dancing, and they're possibly the nicest crowd ever. A close runner-up would be the (International) Noise Conspiracy at Livid Festival.

ok, so last night i went to The Fray concert. wow. no words. none. it was amazing. the opening band was Mutemath...they are basically my new favorite. if The Fray wasnt so awesome (and headlining), i think Mutemath might have stolen the show. they were crazy and jumping all over the place. the lead singer at one point was doing handstands on his keyboard, the drummer duct taped his headphones to his head, the gutarist threw the guitar in the air, and everything was crazy! ah, it was so awesome. and The Fray...well, they're just The Fray...they rock. so much funnn!!!!

Without a doubt it has to be Nick Cave in January 2006. He was performing with a different touring band not the Bad Seeds. It simply blew me away. Also had great seats and could see everything.

That's a shame Elizabeth...but tickets these days are far too expensive...my sister treated me to the Nick Cave concert as a Christmas present....the tickets were £30 pounds each....

This is way OT because it isn't music but I usually don't like big crowds...I suffer from social phobia and can't leave my flat alone...which is why I haven't worked for ages. I was able to just about cope because I had my sister with me and I knew it was seats not standing and pushing.
I am going to see Russell soon and even though I love him I am really nervous about going due to the whole public thing...I even thought about cancelling but managed to talk myself out of it.

I do not mind going out of my house, things like that. Just not keen on big crowds of people, smaller crowds I can stand.
That's a shame about your social phobia. I feel really sorry for you

This is a good question. I would have to narrow i between Panic! at the Disco, Clay Aiken, and Josh Groban. I think Josh wins. It is such an uplifting experience every time I see him. I saw him back in '05 I think it was, and again in March this year. I get to see him July 17th too. He is so amazing! I highly recommend a Josh Groban concert to everyone.

I don't actually know who Josh Groban is and nothing about his music....I notice his thread is very popular though.

OMG I love Alice Cooper, I have a big CD box set of his CD's, I am a major fan of his 70's stuff but I love Poison as well.
